Don't know anything about the size and nature of your drying operation....
I believe that batch kilns with proper control and drying management is far more superior by design, higher volume output, better exact control and with predictable outcome than CDK kilns. I think changing to CDK will reduce your output by at least 20-30%. If I were you, I'd rather pay a reputable drying expert to optimize the batch kilns and drying schedules, than to go the CDK route. Rather run "softer schedules" to improve quality and extend drying time. You can always crank it up again if you are drying too slow
....but, its your money, your choice.....
